| BATTLE OF BRITAIN AIR SHOW STIRS THE EMOTIONS |
| |
| The Imperial War Museum at Duxford staged its Battle of Britain airshow in September. We travelled for the second day of the weekend show which was, indeed, fortunate as, the day before, so many people turned up that it had taken up to four hours just to get in and many cars and coaches had been turned away. We were treated to a fantastic flying display, featuring the incredible Red Arrows display team, the Belgian airforce and, of course, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (pictured) featuring a Lancaster bomber, a Hurricane and Spitfire fighter. The show culminated in 16 Spitfires taking to the sky - a truly impressive and emotional sight - and a minute's silence for all those brave men who gave their lives in the conflct. |

| FEELGOOD MUSICAL WORKS ITS MAGIC |
| |
| We travelled to London's West End for the musical Mamma Mia! recently. The show, which features the hits of supergroup Abba, always has its audience dancing in the aisles and this was no exception. Even on the way home on the coach we could hear passengers humming the tunes so it's pretty safe to assume they all had a great night out! |
| GREAT DAY LEFT PASSENGERS FEELING REALLY CHUFFED! |
| |
| Back in June, our trip to the lovely Kent town of Tenterden, home of the Kent & East Sussex Railway, sold out and many were on our reserve list. As a result, we ran the trip again in August and another fully booked coach headed to Kent on a bright, sunny day. Again, we travelled back in time aboard a lovely steam train for the 45 minute journey to Bodiam where passengers spent time exploring the beautiful castle and its grounds before we returned to Tenterden once again by steam train. The sounds and smells of this bygone age certainly pleased our passengers and, by the time we'd returned home, everyone seemed to agree that they had been really chuffed by their experiences on the day! |
| A LOCAL DELIGHT |
| |
| Once again we've proved it isn't always necessary to travel for hours to find a really pleasant destination for a day trip. As was the case last year, we took a full coach to Felixstowe where, despite the blustery weather and one or two brief showers, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. While some chose to spend their time in this lovely little town, others decided to stroll along the prom to take in the sea air. One or two passengers also made their way to Landguard Point to explore the wartime fort. |
| SANDRINGHAM - THE QUEEN'S NORFOLK RETREAT |
| |
| It was a long day, but everyone seemed to agree that the journey was well worthwhile when we headed to north Norfolk to visit Her Majesty the Queen's retreat of Sandringham House. This magnificent building, set in 60 acres of fantastic gardens, provided plenty to see and, on top of those, the museum featuring former Royal vehicles, toys, crockery, gifts from overseas provided an added bonus. |
| A FINE CITY |
| |
| Our trips to Norwich are always popular. In August a coach full of passengers headed for the city to explore the sights, such as the cathedral and the busy market place, and to hit the wide variety of shops on offer. We will be returning to Norwich on Tuesday, December 7 for the city's Festive Fayre - a trip that is fully booked already! |
| MARKS HALL HAD SO MUCH TO OFFER |
| |
| When it comes to gardens, Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum, near Coggeshall, is not necessarily the first that comes to mind but, as our trip there proved, this lovely venue has so much to offer. Although this particular trip did not catch the imagination quite as much as other Fizz trips, we still took 30 passengers to look around these magnificent gardens, and everyone seemed to agree that this was a most worthwhile trip. From the stunning walled garden and lakes stocked with fish to the magnificent display of trees of so many kinds, we were fortunate that the heavy clouds that appeared from time to time only managed to produce one very short shower - not enough to spoil the day. We spent four hours at Marks Hall which is spread over a wide area. While some returning to the coach would have liked longer to explore, others were glad of the chance to sit down again after a long walk around these impressive grounds. |

| MESSING ABOUT ON THE RIVER |
| |
| We've never had a trip as popular as our Ipswich & Orwell Lady River Cruise. Our original trip, organised for August 12, sold out very quickly, as did the next two we arranged to cope with the demand. But, even then, passengers were still ringing for seats so we organised a FOURTH trip so that no-one would be disappointed. So, in true Fizz fashion, we ran our fourth trip first on August 5, our third trip will be run second, our second trip will be run third and our first trip will be run last of all!! Sounds daft, but it's just the way the dates fell for availability to hire the Orwell Lady. After a lunchtime stop in Ipswich, passengers reboarded the coach for the drive to the harbour in town. Then, once boarded we travelled through the lock into the river Orwell for the cruise past Woolverstone, under the magnificent Orwell Bridge, past Pin Mill and up to the huge container ships in Felixstowe harbour, before crossing over to Harwich, Shotley and back to Ipswich. A fine day indeed. |

| STUNNING BACKDROP FOR GLENN MILLER TRIBUTE CONCERT |
| |
| Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, Suffolk provided a stunning floodlit backdrop for the Glenn Miller Tribute Band when they performed to an outside audience on the lawns. Champagne and picnics were the order of the evening, with Jitterbug classes enthusiastically enjoyed by a large number of couples. Several of the audience, including a couple of Fizz passengers (left), took the opportunity to dress in 1940s style which further added to the atmosphere. The music reflected a bygone era, with Glenn Miller favourites and some more obscure numbers being performed by a fine band. Unfortunately, halfway through the concert, the heavens opened and, by the end of the performance, many had taken shelter from the rain. Nevertheless, those who made their way back early to the coach could still enjoy the music while sitting in the dry. |

| UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS REVISITED |
| |
| Blickling Hall in Norfolk, pictured left, is a grand Jacobean home, famed for its fine collections of furniture, portraits, books and tapestries and, of course, its splendid gardens. A full coach headed northwards towards threatening dark skies on a gloomy summer's day. On arrival, the sun came out briefly so some decided to explore the gardens while they had the chance just in case the heavens opened - which they duly did, accompanied by thunder and lightning! Fortunately though, there was plenty to see inside and it was fascinating to compare the living quarters of the aristocracy to those of the servants below stairs. Hard work and long hours were the order of the day for those whose duty it was to ensure the comfort of their well to do masters. After a while the rain subsided but returned with a vengeance as we arrived back in Colchester. Meanwhile, from Brightlingsea onwards, the roads were completely dry! |

| CREAM TEAS WERE A DELIGHT |
| |
| After a brief visit to Maldon where passengers were dropped off to wander around for an hour after a pleasant drive through the countryside, we made our way to Tiptree to visit the famous Wilkin and Son Jam Museum where we all enjoyed a couple of tasty cream scones laden with butter, thick cream and, of course, jam. The museum exhibits the history of the company from its foundation and shows a large array of implements used in the production of jam and many photographs of the factory in days gone by. |

| A DAY AT THE SEASIDE |
| |
| Our originally scheduled trip to Southend filled quickly so we hastily organised a second trip which we ran two days earlier. We picked up passengers in torrential rain, so much so that the roadside drains could not cope with the flow of water and resembled fountains as the water gushed out of them! It didn't look very promising for a day at the seaside but, fortunately, by the time we arrived in Southend, the rain had stopped and, although overcast, we enjoyed a dry, warm day. Our trip coincided with dozens and dozens of London taxis bringing disadvantaged children on a free day out. Their brightly decorated vehicles brought the town to a standstill as passers-by stopped to wave to the children. While many of our passengers enjoyed the delights of the seafront, others chose to wander in to the town or to visit the famous Kursaal, pictured left. Two days later we ran the originally planned trip, this time really strong winds welcomed us, although, thankfully, it was still warm and dry. |

| BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN FOR FOURTH ORWELL RIVER CRUISE |
| |
| HURRY, HURRY, HURRY, THERE'S STILL TIME TO BOOK YOUR PLACES FOR THE ORWELL LADY RIVER CRUISE ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 5. This is the same trip advertised in our programme. However, that one sold out within days and now, owing to demand, this is the FOURTH trip we've arranged. All details are the same as printed in our programme - except for the date. We've never had such demand for a trip - so don't delay - call us now to avoid disappointment. |
| ROCHESTER TRIP SO POPULAR WE'RE GOING BACK THE NEXT DAY!! |
| |
| Our trip to the Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival was fully booked by the end of June so now we've arranged to return there again the following day - SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5 - to cope with the demand. Don't miss the chance to experience the atmosphere in this lovely Kent town as the Christmas spirit is wholly embraced. We round off the day with a carol concert and snow (artificial) is guaranteed! |

| PASSENGERS WERE SPOILED FOR CHOICE |
| |
| Fizz offered passengers a choice of destination when we headed for the north Norfolk coastal seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer recently. Both towns have always attracted a good number of bookings when we've offered them in the past but, this time, we added in an extra choice, giving passengers the opportunity to experience the delights of each town if they desired by running a mid-afternoon shuttle service. Weatherwise, we had a very good day. While those who spent time in Sheringham, pictured left, took the time to stroll along the front or visit the shops, others took the opportunity to travel on the Poppy Line, a 10.5 mile steam train ride through some of the most picturesque countryside in the region. Those who visited Cromer had an equally enjoyable time, with the added bonus of the town's Victorian pier to visit. All in all, a most enjoyable day. |

| FAMOUS CITY REVEALS ITS CHARMS |
| |
| Our original trip to Cambridge filled so quickly we organised a second trip for the following week. On each occasion we had wonderful weather - although those boarding the coach for the second trip must have wondered what the day had in store for them as it was absolutely pouring with rain when we picked them up in the morning. However, by the time we arrived in Cambridge it was basking in glorious sunshine and, hopefully, a good time was had by all. While some chose to explore the city shops, others visited the parks, university buildings or took punt rides along the river. This is such a beautiful city it's little wonder our trips there have proved so popular. |
| FABULOUS FOOD, WEATHER AND VENUES |
| |
| Our original trip to Dunwich & Southwold filled very swiftly so we organised a second trip two days later. On each trip we were blessed with wonderful sunshine which always makes days out that much more pleasant. Again, John and his team at the Flora Tearooms did us proud, serving up the usual high quality fish and chip meal that his beachside establishment at Dunwich, pictured left, has become so famous for. After filling our tummies we all clambered back on to the coach for the short journey to the nearby seaside resort of Southwold where passengers either looked around the town or the area by the pier or, in some cases, both. Everyone seemed to agree that these two trips were among the most enjoyable trips of the season to date. On the second trip our driver Ivan won a brand new Mini car - but, unfortunately, it was only a toy version out of an amusement arcade on the pier! His luck later ran out though when his wife Judy, our courier, beat him on the mini golf course . . . Ouch!! |

| DAD'S ARMY STARS WELCOME VISITORS TO BRESSINGHAM |
| |
| Bressingham Gardens was buzzing with activity when it hosted its Dad's Army Day. Several surviving members of the cast and the writers of this hugely popular TV comedy (pictured left) were on hand to meet fans and to sign autographs while, elsewhere, others took the opportunity to ride the steam trains or to explore the extensive gardens. This trip is always popular and as long as the stars are still able to make the journey, this looks to be a regular annual feature at the venue. |
| FOLLOWING IN HENRY VIII'S FOOTSTEPS |
| |
| Leeds Castle, near Maidstone in Kent, pictured left, was the destination for Fizz passengers in June. This magnificent castle, built in 1119, was often visited by Henry VIII and other royals over the years. Inside, we were able to admire the hanging tapestries, oil paintings and furnishings while, outside, the grounds were a sight to behold. There is also a huge maze and aviary which added to the day. Despite a poor weather forecast that predicted heavy rain all day (do they EVER get it right???) the odd showers en route soon cleared and, although overcast, it remained fine throughout our visit - even the sun made an overdue appearance for the journey home! |
| A DAY ON THE SUNSHINE COAST |
| |
| It certainly didn't look very promising when, at 6.30am, we started up the coach in pouring rain as we got ready to drive to Holland-on-Sea to pick up the first of our passengers for our trip to Eastbourne on the south coast. Almost throughout the drive there the rain continued and passengers could have been forgiven for wondering why they had got out of bed so early for the trip! However, on our arrival in this lovely seaside town, the sun decided to show its face and, from that point on, we were blessed with glorious weather. While many passengers decided to spend the whole time in Eastbourne itself, others took the opportunity to stay on the coach for the short journey to Beachy Head (pictured left) which offers magnificent views of the sea and stunning panoramic views of Eastbourne. Normally, the wind there could almost blow you off your feet but, on this occasion, a mild breeze made the visit most enjoyable. |
| STEAMING HOT WEATHER FOR STEAM TRAIN TRIP |
| |
| Our trip to the Kent town of Tenterden for a steam train ride to and from Bodiam Castle (pictured left) was the first of two as our first organised trip filled so quickly. Fine, sunny weather made this trip even more enjoyable. The nostalgic journey was much enjoyed and, even though this was a long day, we are looking forward to rerunning the trip on August 31. |
| A DELIGHTFUL SUFFOLK TOWN |
| |
| After several days of inclement weather, we were pleased to welcome a warm, sunny day for our trip to the nearby market town of Bury St Edmunds. Here, passengers had the opportunity to wander around the shops and the bustling market place, while others chose to explore the magnificent St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the impressive Abbey Gardens which are a haven for wildlife and a floral delight. We often have a good number of passengers for this trip and, particularly with such lovely weather, that's easy to understand why as the town certainly looks at its best on a sunny day. |
| GOING BACK IN TIME AT HAMPTON COURT |
| |
| We followed in the footsteps of Henry VIII and other royals when we visited Hampton Court Palace and Gardens. What a splendid palace this is, with awe-inspiring tapestries, statues and ceiling decorations. Outside was just as impressive - beautifully laid out gardens, lakes, trees and fountains. Our journey there was marred by a lengthy traffic jam and an almost equally long wait for 'service' at Thurrock services - only one till being manned (!!) at a peak period - but it was all worthwhile in the long run and we delayed our return journey to allow enough time for everyone to enjoy Hampton Court's attractions and particularly the gardens in the sunshine. |

| FASCINATING DAY IN NORFOLK |
| |
| We had a fascinating day at the Gressenham Farm and Workhouse recently. The site is also the home of the Museum of Norfolk Life. Fine weather greeted us on arrival and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the day out. Life at the workhouse for poor families was certainly grim but, we were told, not as grim as many other similar facilities. It was very sobering to learn how even the most minor of misdemeanours by young children were punished by solitary confinement in the workhouse's own dark dungeon. On a brighter note, the farm animals were well worth the visit, including a litter of 10 black piglets, pictured left, and a couple of new born lambs. |

| NEW DATE FOR SISTER ACT TRIP |
| |
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR TRIP TO SEE THE HIT SHOW SISTER ACT AT THE LONDON PALLADIUM, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 17 HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15. This show's run has been shortened to make way for the new Wizard of Oz production and the last performance will be held at the end of October. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused but this is due to circumstances beyond our control. |

| A LOVELY DAY IN SUFFOLK |
| |
| You don't have to travel too far to enjoy a day out. Our trip just across the border into Suffolk took us to the lovely market town of Sudbury recently. Passengers had the opportunity to wander around the town in bright, warm sunny weather - which certainly made a change from what we had been experiencing so far this year! Then, after a couple of hours, they were picked up for the short journey to the picturesque village of Long Melford, well known as the setting for several of the Lovejoy television series, its numerous antique shops, quaint tea shops and pubs. |
| SPECTACULAR DISPLAY AT STONHAM BARNS |
| |
| We were treated to a fascinating flying display by the birds of prey at Stonham Barns - including one hawk that convinced most of us that he had disappeared for good until a few minutes later he came back to spectacularly dive-bomb his handler - and that made all the waiting for him worthwhile! Then we continued, via the scenic route, to the nearby market town of Diss. On a bright, sunny day, this town cannot fail to impress the visitor. Unfortunately though, our visit coincided with dark, gloomy clouds and a short rain shower. However, it was not enough to spoil the day and, just before it was time to head home again, the sun broke through. Oh well, better late than never! |
| LADIES SHOPPED TILL THEY DROPPED - AND MEN CAME TOO! |
| |
| Four very brave men were among the ladies heading for the giant shopping complex of Bluewater. Were they really keen - or were they there just to pay the money and to carry the shopping? Who knows, however, many ladies came home laden with bag fulls of shopping after searching for shoes, handbags, blouses, skirts and dresses. What fun! Hopefully, several of them will be heading for the neighbouring shopping complex of Lakeside next November. |

| FIZZ PASSENGERS GET CLOSE TO WILD ANIMALS AT WOBURN |
| |
| Our trip to Woburn Abbey and the Woburn Safari Park was most enjoyable. First of all we stopped off to admire the beautiful Abbey, its gardens, and spectacular works of art. Then we continued through the deer park to the Safari Park where the coach passed through enclosures inhabited by lions, tigers, apes, zebras and exotic cattle and also close to the enclosures holding elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses and many more. While some passengers decided to explore the foot safari, the driver took others around the safari park once again before we all headed home, tired but happy. Once again, the driving was shared with our popular co-driver Michael. |

| TRACTION ENGINES, WURLITZERS & BEHIND THE SCENES AT THURSFORD |
| |
| What a wonderful place the Thursford Collection is! Our trip to north Norfork was much enjoyed by Fizz passengers who not only had the opportunity to see some fantastic traction engines, fairground rides (see left) and street organs up at close hand, but also were entertained by the venue's well known and talented organist Robert Wolfe as he impressed everyone as he played the Wurlitzer organ. Some of us took the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, being shown the dressing rooms, the impressive wardrobe which houses thousands of amazing costumes, while our informative and amusing tour guide told how the Spectacular is planned throughout the year. |

| WELCOME TO THE WORLD, JACK! |
| |
| Okay, we do of course realise that this news article has absolutely nothing at all to do with Fizz Coach Trips but we are just proudly taking this opportunity to introduce you to our latest grandchild Jack who, like his brother Alex, seen here holding him, is also the apple of our eyes! |

| SHOPPERS HEAD FOR CHELMSFORD |
| |
| We were fortunate that the rain held off just long enough for our visit to the County town of Essex when passengers took advantage of the wide range of shops on offer in nearby Chelmsford. In fact, it was not until we were almost ready to head for home that the first few spots were noticed so those who chose to stroll around the lovely parks adjacent to the town had reasonably good weather to do so. We dropped passengers off adjacent to Chelmsford Cathedral (pictured left) and then they had four hours to do as they wished before we headed homewards. |
| A LONG DAY - BUT WORTH IT! |
| |
| It may have been a long journey down to the New Forest in Hampshire but it was certainly worth it as Fizz passengers enjoyed their visit to Beaulieu Palace, Abbey and the National Motor Museum. Again, we were blessed with fine weather which was perfectly comfortable for those wishing to stroll around the gardens and visit the Abbey. The National Motor Museum is internationally famous - and with good reason - with splendid examples of motoring from the late 1800s to more recent decades. For those who enjoy television comedy there was Del Boy's famous Reliant Regal (pictured left) and Mr Bean's infamous Mini car, while movie buffs would have enjoyed a close up view of a replica of the DeLorean car that featured in the movie Back to the Future. Regular passengers were also pleased to welcome Michael who often helps out with the driving on our longer journeys. |
| A PIECE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH |
| |
| WOW !! How else could anyone describe a place so fantastic as RHS Wisley Gardens in springtime? Our passengers were welcomed by an abundance of colours and fragrances when they arrived at this massive venue. Whatever kind of plant, tree or vegetable interested them, there was something for everyone at Wisley. Not only that, we were blessed with the best weather of the year so far! |
| SEASON KICKS OFF WITH VISIT TO KINGS LYNN & SWAFFHAM |
| |
| A sunny, occasionally overcast day, greeted Fizz passengers for the first trip of the 2010 season when we headed northwards to Norfolk to explore the towns of Kings Lynn and Swaffham. Passengers were dropped off in King Staithe Square, adjacent to the beautiful Custom House, pictured left, and then they had time to have a meal and to wander around Kings Lynn, a town which boasts a fine mix of older style shopping streets and a recently constructed shopping centre. An added bonus was the busy market place where plenty of bargains were to be had. Then it was off for the short journey to the medieval market town of Swaffham for the chance to see the beautiful Georgian style shops, tearooms and antique stores. |

| A GREAT FATHER'S DAY GIFT! |
| |
| If you have been struggling for a Father's Day gift idea, look no further! On Sunday, June 20 Fizz will be heading for the beautiful setting of Bressingham Gardens, which, on this particular day, will also be hosting it's annual Dad's Army Day when some of the surviving original cast will be on hand to sign autographs and meet their fans. The venue is also host to the Dad's Army Museum. Many of the scenes for this ever-popular BBC comedy series were filmed in the Norfolk region and, as well as many behind the scenes photographs taken at the time, the museum hosts sets from the show, original scripts, Capt Mainwaring's staff car, the Walmington-on-Sea fire engine and much more. Bressingham also hosts the Only Fools and Horses Museum while, outside, the impressive collection of steam trains are on display and narrow guage railways take visitors around the beautiful gardens. What more could Dad want on his special day! |

| ORWELL LADY CRUISE - FOURTH TRIP ARRANGED FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 5 |
| |
| We were amazed when our trip Ipswich & The Orwell Lady river cruise, scheduled for August 12, was completely sold out within a week of our bookings office opening. Such was the demand for this trip we organised a second trip on Tuesday, August 10. This also filled quickly. So weorganised a third trip on Monday August 9. Owing to unprecented demand, that filled too so now we've organised a FOURTH trip - to be run on Thursday, August 5. Details of this trip are exactly the same as the original trip in our brochure. |

| EXCITING PROGRAMME FOR 2010! |
| |
We have been busy preparing what we believe is an exciting choice of trips for the 2010 season. We hope you will find some to your liking.
Everyone on our mailing list should have received a copy of our 2010 brochure by now. If you have not received a copy, please let us know.
We look forward to welcoming you on our coach when the trips begin in April. |
| THANK YOU FIZZ |
| |
We really shouldn't boast, but we do try very hard to organise good value for money trips and a friendly service so, perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised to get complimentary letters and emails. Here are a few examples: 'We have been so impressed with our two trips and would like to congratulate you on the organisation and friendliness which make our day out such an enjoyable and easy experience. We will certainly book more.' H.D. 'Thanks again for another great Fizz day out.' A. & A. T. 'We were two of the lucky people that were on the coach to see Jersey Boys. The show was great and we didn't want it to end. This was our first trip with you and we were impressed by the service. Thank you again.' C. S.
| PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF SERVICE |
| |
| At the end of each trip passengers will be dropped off at the same point as they boarded the coach at the start of the day. To help passengers calculate an approximate return time to their drop-off points we have estimated our return times (in our printed brochure and on this website's calendar) to Colchester and Holland-on-Sea from which passengers will be able to roughly calculate the time we may be returning to their own drop off points. We are also prepared to drop off passengers at more convenient points on the RETURN journeys on request as long as this does not require the driver to deviate from the route taken on the outward journey. |
| INCLUSIVE PRICES |
| |
Unlike some coach trip operators, Fizz Coach Trips offer all inclusive prices. For example, for trips to venues where admission prices are payable, or for theatres and shows where tickets must be shown, Fizz Coach Trips prices include these fees. Better still, because we purchase tickets in bulk we are able to buy at group rates and that means we can pass on our savings to you, our customers! BE SURE TO READ THE SMALL PRINT!!!! Some coach operators who organise theatre trips will only accept very limited responsibility in the event of a breakdown or delay. If they do not get you to the venue on time you may be denied entry once the performance is underway. In this event some coach operators may only reimburse your coach fare - not your ticket money! Should such a situation arise on a Fizz trip we would reimburse affected passengers in full! |
| EVERY LITTLE HELPS . . . |
| |
| Sometimes, when it gets really busy in the Fizz head office we require a little extra help. Fortunately our little three year old grandson Alex is only too willing to help us! |
| INTRODUCING ROSIE . . . |
| |
| Allow us to introduce you to our 'sleeping partner'. This is Rosie, the Fizz company cat. Rosie finds it most a-mews-ing to walk across our laptops and to curl up on our paperwork while we are busily taking bookings. Of course, that's only when she's 'feline' energetic as most of the time she's asleep! Never mind though, we think she's purrfect! |
| FIZZ COACH TRIP VOUCHERS - THE IDEAL GIFT! |
| |
Stuck for a gift idea? Why not treat a family member or friend to a Fizz Gift Voucher, which can be redeemed against any trip on our programme. Our vouchers are available in multiples of £5. Call us on 01206 231162 to order. |
| COACH HIRE |
| |
| Our 53-seater coach is available for private hire. If you are a member of a club or organisation, please contact us for details. Our rates are extremely competitive! Please note the coach does NOT have a toilet, but we ensure that on longer trips we incorporate regular comfort stops. |
| PERSONAL SERVICE PLEDGE |
| |
We will continue to offer a good, old-fashioned personal service. We realise that some passengers find it difficult getting in or out of the coach because of the steps. We are happy to assist passengers at these stages on the understanding that this help is accepted by the passengers concerned at their own risk.
Passengers with mobility difficulties can be reassured that we will do everything we can to make their travelling experience as pleasant as possible. Our coach has a ‘kneeling’ facility, which means that the coach can be lowered to make it easier for passengers to get on or off. There is storage space on the coach for pushchairs, wheelchairs, walking frames, and some types of mobility scooters. Please advise us at the time of booking.
If you have mobility issues we advise you to mention this when booking as some destinations may not be adequately adapted to suit your needs. With prior notification we can do our best to ensure that your needs are met as much as possible. |
| KEEPING COSTS DOWN . . . |
| |
Because we are sometimes out of the office when customers ring to book trips we use a call divert service which means calls will be automatically transferred to a mobile telephone. We wish to assure passengers that these calls incur the caller no extra charge. This extra cost is met by Fizz Coach Trips.
We hope that our customers can play a part in reducing our advertising costs by booking trips as early as possible. That way we can pass on our savings to our customers by holding our prices down. The earlier we can fill our coaches, the less we need to advertise.
